Trams Poem by Christopher Tye

Trams

Trams

Time ran out for you in the fifty's,
Renaissance for an old friend now,
As cities regretted your passing,
Modern light-railway systems just trams with a new name,
Streamlined "Balloon" trams on Blackpool seafront.
