Tranquility Poem by David odhiambo

Tranquility

Rating: 5.0

I lie in silence
My thoughts completely shut
Tranquility, is all I wish for
Darkness, stealthily walking in
Not a single sound
Just the wind
With its soothing chill
And terrifying benevolent sound
I see the clear skies
Shimmering into dawn
Eagerly, waiting for the sun
I see the grass
With their narrow green leaves
And dew, slowly growing into life
Love is all I feel
Love for nature
And all it has to offer.
