Transformation Poem by Azam Naz

Transformation

Rating: 4.5

There is but a story to be told
As all ears pay no attention
There is but a dream to be shared
As all hearts refuse to listen

There is but a boy who cries out loud
As his father learns to turn away
There is but a man who remains silent
As his father watches from beyond the grave

Purpose is but hope
And hope is but faith
The stars may be as empty as they seem
Or there may be reason for faith to believe

Speak up man with a braveheart
Your voice will shake the stars to life
Little kid don't you cry anymore
Your eyes will watch you survive

For your story will be told
As the start of the year will give away to december
Everyone will dream the same dream
But only one heart will remember.
