Trap Poem by jimmy zepp

Trap

Now it’s opened again,
For a new solemn flight,
My weakened heart, buffered with pain,
Still stubborn, hungry for delight…
But from the blue sky above,
It’s pouring like rain,
Shooting down that peaceful dove,
Once got rid of sins and its heavy chain.

I’m the servant of that bad luck,
My life had been drowned in injustice,
My proud soul is now stuck,
In superstitions and prejudice,
At the face of this chaos I want to shout,
But still can’t find my way out…

A torch in one hand, and death at one side,
I feel I’m falling down,
Handcuffs and the sorrows obstruct my ride,
I’m still on my own…
Away from this trap,
Stands my fragile happiness,
And an eternal nap,
The only witness,
For a man left all alone,
Still can’t find his way home…

The road to the sun is too short,
But I can’t live still by the old burnt,
Got to be ready now for everything,
Where all is gone; lost its meaning...

In true it`s a very deep and sad poem with weak beams of hope. I wish the beams will become brighter and sadness weaker. good work and special words get 10+
