Treading On The Grass[tà Suō Xíng] Poem by Perdita Young (Hanna Wang)

Treading On The Grass[tà Suō Xíng]

Rating: 5.0

Dainty Walk on Ripples

Her white socks shimmer and shimmer
when she walks dainty down th' scented steps
to the quiet garden, calm and full of grace;

The wind rises, rippling much golden dust,
and tenderly the flowers begin to dance.

Lo bright is the Moon, that emerges
in her cloud-woven gown, young and fresh,
ah deep is Autumn, at the sleepless house.

Melody floats up, and up, a thin ^veil,
Mellow music curls upward, soft and slow.
