Trees sprout from a tiny seed
Grow majestic to see
Whether an oak or a maple
Or a China Berry tree
Trees bring back memories
Plucked from the past
They are one thing we count on
A strength that will last
Trees build family history
Folks often reflect
On a tree in the family yard
They will never forget
“I climbed that tree as a kid”
We’ve heard that remark
A part of the past
That brings back a spark
Trees reflect seasons
They open the door
For spring time blossoms
And so much more
In summer there is fruit
That sprouts from a bloom
Fall brings more colors
To brighten the gloom
They are stately with beauty
Magnificent to see
I thank God for His choice
To give us the tree!
