Only one of their starships
Was equipped with a gym!
Picard, Janeway, Kirk,
Can you tell which one’s thin?
In perpetual motion once they
Have left our atmosphere.
But the ship won’t need exercise,
Just the folks who live in there!
There was very little square footage
To build a sizable joggers track.
But they could do bicycle peddling
While lying flat on their backs.
You can’t push away from the table
When there’s nowhere else to go!
But your stomach will feel more full
If you chew all meals real slow!
You may be getting nostalgic,
And wishing for something more!
Well that’s what they could give you
As their bellies now reach the floor!
