As we sit on the deck, your face is close to mine
I give you a hug and a kiss and tell you it will be fine
Your body starts to relax and then you crack a smile
If i could have just one wish it would be for you to stay a while

Having you in my life oh how its so sweet,
Im beginning to think your the reason why my heart beats
I am so grateful for everything that you do in my life
I know your just my girlfriend but hopefully soon you will be my wife

The night is comming to an end, I wish it could be longer.
With every day that passes by our love is getting stronger.
So i guess ill say goodnight and kiss you on the cheek
And as i watch you walk away I am unable to speak.
