True Love Poem by Samantha Slone

True Love

As I'm sitting here all alone,
thoughts of you on my face they are shone,
Tears streaming down my face,
Memories of you cannot be replaced.
My heart aches from what should have been
Our love, everyone rated it a ten.
I feel like I cannot go on another day
my tears overwhelm as I lay
Your love no longer stays.
One day you will decide
that you will never let our love die.
And as you lay alone tonight
I pray your memories cannot fight
Constant thoughts of me lying in your arms
Being with me shall do you know harm.
So when you gaze at the stars
Remember there is true love waiting for you and not very far
