True Loves Effect Poem by Katheryn Foley

True Loves Effect

Notice the smile that starts out sweet but tightens when the butterflys in my stomache are too much.

My heart jumps when I see you come near me,

But melts when you hold me.

Words sound sweeter when spoken by you,

I can only smile when I look at you.

I feel like dancing when you come around,

My spirit is so high,

Breath is hard to find when you look me in the eye.

All fear is at a hault when you came and knocked down my wall of insecurities.

I am free to stop, stand and stare at the one that makes me feel this way.
