As a trumpeter swan I do
Trumpet the joy of winter found,
Enveloping Lincoln Park Zoo,
Where all and I are snowy downed.
Other animals don't like cold,
And seek protection from the chill.
But I seek wonders to unfold
From winter time - the whiteness still.
The lagoon is well stocked with all
That I may need to remain well.
My peace is found within my call.
To all who hear me, I shall tell.
Come to the Zoo the coldest day.
My trumpet will guide you my way.
