Trust And Truth Poem by Moth Harris

Trust And Truth

Hands on the clock
Saying time's out the door
I'd look over it
If you just didn't care anymore

Take me back to when
Red hearts meant more then friends
Undo all of the dead ends
Stay with me
Today and for the rest of our days

My hands are on the clock
I just can't reverse time
I'd focus more on the future
If you'd just give me a sign

That these walls will fall
Really just talk with me
Under a grand pine tree
That's covered in snow
Say anything

I will stay here forever
Whether you're scared or have doubt
I think it's about time
That you figure this out

I'm not the shadow in your past
but you're the light that guides my ways
and I'll never close my eyes
For all of my days.
