Truth Poem by Molefi Kau

Truth

I speak no ill
and mince no words
I play no games
and bow to no crown
I am the truth

I open bolted doors
Pursue every lie
I am never one to flaunt
because i have no equals

I need no resting place at night
I never shiver at the sight of might
i am rock solid where I stand
requiring no defence

I never pale like a lamp
Or fizzle in the dazzle of dawn
As i was there at the begnning
So I have stood the test of time

I often take my own time
strolling at my own pace
but i never fail

Embrace me
I am the truth
I will set you free
