Truth Poem by Justin Mabulana

Truth

'We plough these dreams and reap success'
Bt at first they were cold as ice
Giving us cold advice
Even when the sun shone above, pestering us with its rays, it was cold outside
They brought us to this world
And they taught us these words, so we write
Of what's right
Told us lies that were right as my left hand
and th question was what lies where
Because the truth was right where lies were
So amongst the two whose roots were elsewhere?
So they spoke in plain english, words were understood but the sentences made little or no sense
But the answer to all those questions were the truth is right in our essence
We took ink and wrote what what they spoke imprinted those words deep in our souls so we feel it thus it shown in our emotions
We took what we learnt and put it in motion
Rubbed it in like some sort of a lotion
..........2 b continued
