Truth©
Shut my mouth and seal my heart,
let words not now betray;
Curl into my secret self,
with every breath, I pray.
Shut my ears and close my mind,
let anger leave no bruise;
Slip away to memories,
safe from sick abuse.
Be still my heart, stop pounding,
Fear not, let peace slip in,
No matter what is said or done,
Truth will always win.
