Truth And Change
Truth and Change
You lost all your fights
because you were
compassionate and respectful
because you were listening
to the language of logic
and your opponents were
illiterate, immoral, savage!
Now you are
far away from it all
withdrawn from the struggle
But now the days are lengthening
a voice is re-echoing inside you:
"May hope find the right door
and knock suddenly! "
But soon, even the days
the changing mind
are getting briefer again
Then you say
"If the long, dark winter nights
Pass again without seeing
the ghosts inside the black dreams
I will kiss the first narcissus of spring"
But soon
even that will wither.
Then confused you ask:
How will it tolerate
the scorching sun of
Truth's revolution?

A beautiful poem that only a Poet who is perceptive and sensitive to what is happening around him can weave and deliver. A Poet knowledgeable in political changes and machineries. A Poet who had a wide array of experiences as regards humanity. To my Poem List and 10++.
Revolution advocates change to a system that is not responsive to the needs of the people. But sometimes the people behind the revolution are not true enough for the people and thus creating another cycle of chaotic system and might even worse delivering the people to total darkness

Well done again Soran. Another beautifully written poem. Superb and captivating. It is mived emotions of the inner heart or deep concerns of the inner mind. It's one to let the reader to decide.
