Truth of My Time

Tick Tock Tick Tock I hear faint whispers in the wind calling my name
Tick Tock Tick Tock I now hear footsteps following close behind me
Tick Tock Tick Tock I start to see black figures in the distance motioning me to come closer
Tick Tock Tick Tock it know feels like that they have their grasp upon my being
Tick Tock Tick Tock I feel a pain surging through my body as the grasp of these figures tightens
Tick Tock Tick Tock I hear their voices in my head telling me to let my soul go and I will be free
Tick Tock Tick Tock Tick Tock Tick Tock I ive now just given my body to the devil

poet Edgar Allan Poe

Kind solace in a dying hour!
Such, father, is not (now) my theme-
I will not madly deem that power
Of Earth may shrive me of the sin
