Try To Be Poem by Mathew Sutter

Try To Be

To be or not to be.
To some this is an idiotic question,
But to others,
It is a question that plaques their minds every day.
Like a broken record,
It plays over and over without stopping.
A spinning teacup,
But broken and never stopping.
Around and around.

They become dizzy,
And then they can't figure out what to do,
Because they can't see properly.
Sometimes they make the right decision,
But most of the time,
They fall on their knees,
And can't get up again.
Then they will never be,
Though they tried to be.
