Trying To Catch A Flying Bird Poem by DOMINIC PREMPEH

Trying To Catch A Flying Bird

Having several secret meetings
Planning different schemes
And, pulling different strategies...

Inviting several witnesses
And questioning plenty beauties
All in the name of investigating me; gees

Counting flaws and chanting my slips
Fasting for my slips and praying my falls
Drafting story to write when finally I fall with my faults

In their never wanting me the kite to perch with the hawks
They broke their flappy wings in the course
...dare-devils in a bush set-up; like...buffoons
