Trying To Pray Poem by Conley Murray

Have you ever tried to pray,
and words just wouldn't come your way?

Then you try to think, did I have a bad night or day?
Or was it the old devil trying to make me go his evil way?

Some times God wants you to pray in a very humbly and silent way,
so He can give you all the proper words to say.

So many people say they don't read their Bible or pray everyday,
because there are so many things getting in the way.

PEOPLE NEED TO FIND SOME TIME TO PRAY EVERYDAY,
SO THE OLD DEVIL CAN NOT PERSUADE THEM TO GO HIS EVIL WAY
