Twilight Poem by Mike Gould

Twilight

Rating: 5.0

Lonely in the fields
Just gazing at the sky
Trying to touch the diamonds
But they are all too high

I gazed upon a certain star
That shined so very bright
It just gave me that certain feeling
The feeling of airless flight

Wishing I could be up there
Where all the stars are free
Where no one would have any troubles
Not even a person like me

Visions come to fantasies
Fantasies come to dreams
Even in your own little world
Nothing is quite what it seems

Next time you're by yourself
On a very beautiful night
Look into the sky my friend
And find your special twilight
