Twin Towers Poem by Andrew Daglish

Twin Towers

Evil descends through a bright blue sky
With death and destruction their only aim
Evil decides who will live or die
But the world as we know it, will never be the same
Down too the streets where people stand frozen
Staring at such sights that should never be seen
Down too the streets, they stand mouths wide open
But the world as we know it, will never be as green
It’s a time to be brave, be that courageous soldier
A decision to run to and not away
It’s a time for marines, with little exposure
Thank god for these heroes during the darkest of days
Jason Thomas
