Twists Of Love Poem by LINET SABASTIAN

Twists Of Love

Rating: 5.0

Beautiful as love seems
Beautiful as we dream of it
Beautiful as we imagine of it
It does not come easy

Like a seed you plant
You wait for it to germinate
It may be swept away by heavy rains
Or it may die from the extreme hot sun
Or eaten by hungry birds
Or the weeds might take its place.

If it germinates
You nurture it to your best
But never sure of the harvest
It might be a good harvest or not
Our hearts glow and we smile when the harvest is good
Our hearts are broken when the harvest is not good.

All the effort we put
All our expectations
All our efforts
And all the patience to plant and nurture
All feels like a waste of time.

But we have to find a way to keep the flame burning
Like a pearl we have to find a way to keep it shining.

That is the way it is.

beautiful. lines! And truth so perfect. We. are. living. in elements. they. have more control than we. As Sir, Rabindranath Tagore, wrote. thefaith waiting in the heart of a seed, promises, a miracle of off life, bit cannot prove it until remains just as a Seed.

How so wonderful, poet., you could compare Lobe. with the. very. nature. as seed and. how it Germinates. with such. care and support of 5 elements. I am so amused reading this! !

interesting use of the word twists... indeed... probably....thats precisely why it can end up in intractable knots... a nice portrayal of the natural history of this engulfing and predominate preoccupation.....love! ! ! ... liked
