Two Faces Of A Man

Rating: 5.0

Of what is made a humans heart,
Of bales of cotton or tons of rock hard.

Is it the heart of the devil?
Or that of an angel.
Alas, 'tis the humans heart
Ripped to shreds and torn apart.
Torn apart by feelings of hatred, -and
Ripped to shreds by his pride.

Luxuriously are his mistakes committed,
And committed with those of hatred.
Never to repent on his folly,
Nor to make one enough jolly.
To wreak the peace became his aim, -and
He played it perfectly as though a game.

Of what is made a humans heart,
Of bales of cotton or tons of rock hard.

Discovered has he the nuclear fire,
Which is a vicious killer.
Taking the lives of many,
Without any sympathy.
Never is there a purpose for waging a war,
Nor is the conclusion fair.

Takes over many a land,
And makes himself more grand.
Promises of falsehood are made,
Which very soon fade.
He brings to himself luxury,
By snatching away one's property.

Of what is made a humans heart,
Of bales of cotton or tons of rock hard.

What is his spirit,
Nothing but a hollow pit.
Filled with distrust and misery,
Combined with cruelty and jealousy.
Never does he think of forgiveness'
Nor about one's happiness.

How self centered a creature is he,
With no love and passion for humanity.
What a cruel creature will a human be,
In the future generations with glee.
To the human race he will,
Surely make a hard place to dwell.

Of what is made a humans heart,
Of bales of cotton or tons of rock hard.

Oh when he is soft,
He is just as sweet.
Always loving and caring,
Even kind and forgiving.
Always ready to lend
A kind and helping hand.

Glad to help the poor,
When one's at the door.
Never to leave them bare
But with lots of care.
Takes pity and mercy,
To accomplish his duty.

Of what is made a humans heart,
Of bales of cotton or tons of rock hard.

He seeks the truth,
Sets on his path.
And makes many a parts-
In his heart.
With trust in nobody,
Except in God Almighty.

He accepts himself,
And his life.
Takes life as a challenge,
And tries to make a change.
He tries to balance on the right path,
But without God's wrath.

Of what is made a humans heart,
Of bales of cotton or tons of rock hard.

What a remarkable demeanor has he,
When one stares at helplessly.
Takes advantage of the opportunity,
And brings to himself sanity
On his face he wears a smile,
To comfort one for a while.

The devil in him wakens up,
Only to suppress the angel, -and
The angel in him rises up
To conquer the devil.

A truly remarkable person is he,
Yes, 'tis man, is he!
