My heart is beating alongside your own
And has strengthened its grip as our love has grown
No matter how often in the past it’s been broken
Those days are behind me, and now only a token
Of those moments I thought I had found number one
Only to find that they wouldn’t last long
And now with our future filled with satisfaction
I know that we both have a great interaction
So hold on to the moments our hearts share together
No matter the troubles, no matter the weather
My heart is beating in time now with yours
We both know the reasons, we both know the cause.
