Two Lovers On The Shore Poem by Jean Dament

Two Lovers On The Shore

The sun shines down on two lovers lying on the shore alone,
Longing & yearning for their love to be reborn;
While entwined in each other's loving embrace,
Their breathing hastens & takes on a rhythmic pace,
Their lust & kissing causes a searing heat,
Leaving two hearts pounding beat for beat,
Exploring hands trace each other's bodies creating an ebb & flow,
Like the waves out on the ocean in the moon's afterglow,
Now happily sated they stand up & hold hands;
While walking & gazing into each other's eyes, they leave their footprints in the sand.
