Two Wings Of A Dove. Poem by Ray Sinclair

Two Wings Of A Dove.

Rating: 5.0

Guard your heart, but not to well,
some you meet have lies to tell.
Will take you to a place of love,
crush your heart with armoured glove.

Look the mirror, what do you see?
Who is that looking back at me?
Reflected face, pain, despair,
attitude? , I couldn't care.

Made to feel so down and out,
locked in mind, eternal shout.
Seconds to minutes, such a trail,
Will time heal? May take a while.

The past is scattered on the proving ground,
present moment, finally found.
Future is an unknown place,
destiny, we all must face.

Life is like an airborne seed,
drifting, random, seeks its need.
Only constant is the change,
blessed life, Oh, so strange.

Think with wisdom, seek the love,
you are one wing of a flying dove.
Life is a magical passing affair,
your second wing is waiting somewhere.
