at the curious intersection
of tyranny and anarchy
two strangers meet
they are two but also one
kingdoms rise and fall
power crumbles into dust
the sea inters the pirate's gold
and lust encounters mortality
the bandit and the dictator
have much in common
they put no value on humanity
they prey upon the weak
I wish that I could believe
that there will be a reckoning
a finality of fire and ice
to crush the head of the snake
the bandit and the dictator have much in common they prey upon the weak.... Yes, they have much in common. But till the time we have votaries of righteous path, we should not lose hope of redemption. Thought provoking. Thanks a lot, Barry.
I think that it is a world wide problem that many who claim religion do not adhere to its principles. We should never give up on hope but doubt is also both wise and prudent in my opinion.

A thought-provoking write. Tyranny n anarchy abound. Man's history is replete with gory tales. I also wish that evil be punished. A huge 10.
Thanks. Evil will never be eliminated but my hope is it can be diminished and weakened.
