Tyre Nichols - With Sympathies To An Aggrieved Mother -Rowvaughn Wells

A Mother named Rowvaughn Wells
will miss her son forever....

And though tears may subside with time,
will memories ever recede over the years
or will another African American man get beaten
by police officers who will target him
for offences which are so routine in any man's daily life
but how can any of the police officers take law
in their own hands rather than place the suspect
before the Court for the violations or felonies
he has been stopped for?

What is the price of prejudice
that a black man's life gets snuffed by police officers
when they find him speeding
or on the wrong side of law?
yet they consider themselves as judges and jury
and they subject the suspect to torture
by beating him recklessly and pitilessly.

Or is it tradition that color of one's skin
makes its so discriminatory
that any errors or wrongdoings committed
by a dark-skin man are considered unpardonable crimes
that he has to face kicks and blows so instantly
of the police officers who act so aggressive
that not even the doctors can revive him or save him.

So, how will a mother called RowVaughn Wells ever stop
missing her son whom she lost to police brutalities?
Will justice ever prevail to stop another George Floyd
or another Tyre Nichols from losing a life that is so precious?
May God alone give ample of grace to those mothers
to bear the loss and sorrow of their beloved sons
whom they brought in this world with love and care
to live happily until their time and not face such unhappy end!
