Tyrean Purple



Tyrean purple.. a beautiful dye associated
with the Lebanese city of Tyre.
Not so long ago Tyre was crimson.. with blood from
innocents slaughtered
by raining bombs.
In the harbors
were animals on boats dying
of thirst...as occupiers' embargos
prevented the disembarking
of mammals objectified as cargo
