A deep inner feeling
To help the needy
Arises naturally in
Compassionate minds.
Let that feeling grow
And act with passion
This impulsive action
Gets immense satisfaction.
Every such activity
Will let another soul
Respond in a similar way
Good'll spread everywhere.
It brings the world together
With multitude of actions
To let congeniality grow
Unabated for a while.

Compassion is tge sister of love, and you can't really have one without the other. And when they run with wisdom, no evil can destroy them.
