All the blank pages
Normally would invite
A pen to leave a mark
Wooing the writer to
Print their memories
Of good times
And otherwise.
But these pages –
Crisp and white
Hold no appeal
For me to draft out
A blueprint of my mind,
Because when the mind
Is not at peace
Its best to withdraw
Rather than to destroy
The Beauty of paper
And to make them
Messsed up just like my life-
‘Where the AFTERMATH
Stretches into infinity.’
AMEN! ! We all here are sure you will not mess your life - you are very matured surely. BTW... this is a beautiful piece.

Preeti can create something out of nothing-I find from this poem. Your imagination is very much on the high side.

Blank papers may be unappealing, but your poem is quite the opposite. You write with wisdom and great charm. Regards, Sandra
