Unborn Child Pleads Poem by asaolu kolawole ifedayo

Unborn Child Pleads

LADY: the colour of my foetus has shown
and careless words from my clans
rioting me within, oh fate! my brain dudgeon
tempted for this crucial task
thus, an half-moon killer
my heart ease, i will do it again

UNBORN CHILD: Ever none mother!
for i heard you here in thy womb
to slain my spirit again
onto the wind of untimely death
Must doom? mother! Must doom?
there will be no pain
cause i will be your kiss of life

LADY: Iam in pain child
and choice is like a dormant star
my aching heart, the betrayal
i must know not again
this pain for twice
in this path of my heartless heart

UNBORN CHILD: O! mother, thy tears of pain had echoed
onto my lonely moment
please kill me, and let it be gone
Iam ready for another sacrifice
i will zoom away to roar
in the kingdom of my crying mates
Now, give me the pill or D and C
and let me die unsung

LADY: O! child, my wicked thought is gone
and cutlass of my memory
broken at the stage of dream
my hero you will be, i know
the warrior of my world
i will endure this suffering for you
and give thy sight to the
beauty of our sun.
Plead no more my king!
for thou will surely be born
