Unchangeable Poem by Palitha Ranatunge

Unchangeable

I was so scared
To ask, whether you still
Love me the same?
After many a year
Isolated and separated
In two other worlds,
Like half moon lit in
Thick black night
Hidden underneath a
Veil of a misty cloud
Do we admire the same
Experience and contentment
Of life we had long, long time back?
Not the same flower bloom
Not the same nightingale sings
At my neighborhood
Not the same...
Moon and my love
Are eternal and
Still the same...
