There are no shocks anymore
Death disaster war
History repeats
We’ve seen it all before
Moral inquisitive
Technically aware
We surf we see
But do we even care
Desperate to see
We are morbidly curious
Giving instant celebrity
To the deadly and the furious
We know to much
In this enlightened age
Worlds of suffering
At the click of a page
Nothing seems real
There’s too much information
Being caught in the internet trap
Leads to mental nullification
Conditioned
Is what we’ve become
Unable to feel
Uncomfortably numb
