Under The Mask Poem by Marianne Keplinger

Under The Mask

I try not to cry
Keep in mind
Why do I lie inside?
This love simplifies

Holding onto you
Wantign to let go
Staying distracted
Growing more scared

You become disguised
My heart trembles
Our souls unwind
Wind blows laughter's

Why this side of me?
No ryhmes or reasons
Is there more to grow?
In this life I grow cold.
