Often times I've heard people say
That life is just not fair
But let me tell you this
Before you sink into despair

Life at times may be unfair
To anyone at all
But it doesn't take that much
To rise up and stand tall

The opportunities of today
Are more than ever before
All you really have to do
Is to walk out of your front door

Just be your own person
Never compromise
Always have a goal
So you can achive the prize

It may take a little while
To figure out lifes game
But once you can do that
There's so much to gain

When you make it on your own
Your success you'll want to share
Even though you'll hear it asked
Isn't life at times unfair?
