Unpursued Dreams Poem by Ray Hansell

Unpursued Dreams

I could have been a football player
But I didn't feel the need
I could have played baseball
But I really lacked the speed

Of course these are the things
That have crossed my mind
It's quite a different story
If success I would ever find

I could have been so many things
If I could only commit
But all of my failures
Happened because I quite

Life will try to take us
Down many different roads
Regardless of who we are
Everyone has a story to be told
