Unforgivable Poem by Mpheng Magome

Unforgivable

Rating: 4.3

Slow rush of my blood.
In my veins,
Through my wound,
Onto my skin.
I'm so sorry.
I'm so sorry.

Daily reminders:
The voices,
My scars.
I'm so sorry.
I'm so sorry.

Consumed by guilt,
Trapped in a nightmare
Of my memories.
I'm so sorry.

When one is betrayed or hurt intentionally by a relative or a friend in a self-serving way, not in a careless or thoughtless way, it's always very difficult to forgive. But we must bear in mind that forgiveness is certainly more fulfilling than vengeance or grudge, it's an attribute of the strong and not the weak. A lovely poem, well articulated and nicely penned from the heart. A beautiful piece indeed. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem MANDELA - THE IMMORTAL ICON.

Very, very powerful: by focussing on the guilt you make it much deeper than if you were to focus just on the action.
