You are like the moon
in the bottom of the well.
Unobtainable.

How very poetically clear and impactful this is! Three lines full of truth and sentiment, worth more than a thousand words. Sincerely, loved this great and unforgettable Haiku.
Such incredibly beautiful imagery in this truly outstanding haiku! Love it! And I give it 5 stars, but PH is somehow not posting them. I guess they've gone to the moon. That's one of my favourite songs.
p2The desire for the beloved is like the longing desire for the moon, to touch the moon; here symbolically 'Unobtainable', inverted in sunken well depths instead of a lover's moon shining in the sky.
p1The incredible alluring power of this poem is the beautiful romantic imagery of 'the moon in the bottom of the well', so beautiful desirable, in the first two lines. This desire is shattered with the impact of the single disturbing word of the last line 'Unobtainable'.
Meaningful haiku, but why look down into the depths of a well, look right upward into the sky
p2the moon is never caught on star void nights, when the moon is hidden behind sky cloud veils, the moon is caught by brilliant love light

I would like to translate this poem
p1 a lover's moon can be caught in deep wells of true hearts, the moon is catch between stone walls, in depths at the bottom of a well, on clear nights stars shinning,
I wrote the poems 'Catching A Lover's Moon In Water Wells', 'Deep Wells Of True Hearts', 'Moon Caught Clear Nights' and 'Moon Hidden Behind Sky Cloud Veils', inspired by the poem 'Unobtainable-Haiku' by the poet Rose Marie Juan-Austin and dedicated to Rose Marie Juan-Austin.
