Unrequited Cup Of Love Poem by Joyce Nicasio

Unrequited Cup Of Love

Ever since I met you,
I fell in love with you,
Gently touching me like a treasure,
By your finger that I admire.

Am I simply filled with desire?
Or is this true love?
I hope the day would come,
That the two of would be together forever.

But I guess it will never come,
Your loved one is higher than me,
So my love is a cannot be.

She is an orchid while i'm the nightshade,
So I want at least to smile for you,
For I will be soon aparting from you.

I don't want to ruin your happiness,
Instead I have to bear with this loneliness,
I might be reckless as you see,
But there is one condition.

And that is...

For you to remember that I LOVED YOU.
