Unrequited Love Poem by Jake Samuelson

Unrequited Love

Rating: 3.0

Taelor, what we had was true and i believe it is still there
You feel scared and alone but you are never alone
Just let me love you and please can you break down your walls?
It won't be easy and i never said it would, but it would be worth it
Can you remember how we used to be?
Je T'aime
Nothing will ever be the same, our lives forever changed
The pain we feel can go away and when it does we can Live
Truly, and freely Live.. Most people merely Exist
What are you so scared of? What makes you hide...
Fear of rejection and fear of loneliness?
You are never alone.. To hell with the pressure I'm standing my ground
Je T'aime
You think nobody cares but your wrong
I'm right here... Nobody compares to you
I wish i could love you, today and forever
But you have to let me, i need you
Je T'aime
Truth is... The truth hurts
Whatever it may be, I'm not moving
I'm strong enough to endure
A shadow has crept across what we knew and doused the fire that we used to know.
It can be re-ignited, it can burn again.
We just need to let it.
Je T'aime, belle. Je T'aime.
Always and forever, my love.
