Unseen Place Poem by harshani cooray

Unseen Place

In the lonely nights…
You come to my sight…
With a dazzling light
I think its too bright
too bright
that I cant see
Who is there with me
Who’s around me… making
Making Bids for my heart…

You may shed a tear…
Which will melt my fear
But no, no I wont
Give my soul to you
My soul… I don’t know
I don’t know
To whom I should grant
A broken soul, standing on faith
With misplaced rights
But Right in your eyes I see
That sweetest smell I feel
I know that you will
own my heart

But, no, no I wont
I wont give it to you
Its hidden in a unseen box
Which I cant feel no more
So I keep
Keep it safe
Coz no more tears that I need
Its closed indeed,
till that thunder rush
to break the seal
of my heart, and of my soul
so I will keep it safe
In ma unseen place...
