Unspoken Word Poem by Gabe Florsheim

Unspoken Word

Now just bits of crumbled paper line a weathered kitchen’s floor. Unsung lyrics of a hearts unspoken word. Unable to express in any way all the things buried deeply and unheard, I’d like To take them out, if only one by one. I’d rather have one then live unloved unknowing. But try as one may, to capture their memories meaning, in the mind, somehow it becomes a jumble. A mismatched mistake, lost in the vocal chords, and tossed on paper. Faded from the time and it’s untimely fabric. Wasting away to become just a blur. So allow my heart and mind to again re-live. Live and breathe the words unheard. To every word un-written, return to paper your pure intentions, before whats left unmentioned is all that’s left as a lost connection. So write it down. And every unspoken word you write, Read aloud.
