If I dream of you
Will you dream for me
If my wishes are pure
And as gentle as can be
If my hands don't shake
And I don't mix up my words
Will you hold me close in your arms
Where I cannot be hurt
If my eyes close softly
And my tears don't fall
Will you promise me that in the end
It will be worth it all
If my kiss doesn't burn
And I don't draw away
Will you let me sleep beside you
Until the light of day
