Untitled (I) (1992) Poem by Patrick Wescott

Untitled (I) (1992)

Rating: 3.5

He appears disguised as the rest,
but his disguise is the best.
Only a few will know his name,
the rest just call him Mr. Insane.
He received his invitation
in early seventy.
'Come join us', it said,
'in lifes little tragedy'.
People join and leave this game,
dancing, laughing throughout the life.
But only few act like him,
dancing on the edge of the knife.
The rest just stand back
and marvels as he glows.
Burning fast,
and out of control.

Very nice, worthy of a title.
