Untitled.1922 Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Untitled.1922

Rating: 4.3

When I look at you
A job title doesn't cross my mind
Or does it effect the way
I think about you.
In terms of intellect
Your level of education
Is the furthest from the equation.
I myself am debilitated
& A change of habit will not
Change that.
I don't think about the things
That you aren't.
Most of the time solving for
'X' isn't the main variable.
Least when it comes to you.
There are more important things
That require a lot more attention.
A lot more.
No matter how much multiplication
Is involved.
Of all the space between the
Parentheses that appears
Between you and I.
Solving for 'X' isn't the main
variable.
It's basic subtraction
Of the problem itself.
We tend to overthink
The simplest solution

A good write but True love doesn't think about job titles.
