I want you to know I love you,
even though you don't love me back.
So I step down because I understand our love is one way
and you do not feel the same way.
I will never forget you though we tread different paths
but like a star,
I know I will never reach you,
but I will never stop trying,
so please keep this with you,
with no strings attached,
except the ones to my heart
