Unworthy To Be Trusted Poem by Vikram Basu

Unworthy To Be Trusted

To whom shall I render my help?
All are damned and God-forsaken!
Dad taught me to be helpful -
But he forgot to teach how to read minds.

These maniacs are so horrifying
Better said they are all hooligans,
Call themselves trustworthy at any cost!
Sorry amigos, you are worthy for nothing.

Believe me, I don't need weed to say this,
Gave up on it a long time back
I'm not like you, don't beat my own drum.
Just have one damn problem, need to trust someone.

But you stay in your little worlds,
No need of lying any more.
Because I can't bear you any longer!
Stay away from me and make it forever.

Don't you try to screw my mind again!
This time I'm no soft hearted child,
Will damage you so hard, you'll know
What trust actually means to me.
