Uphold Our Spiritual Fervor Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

Uphold Our Spiritual Fervor

Uphold our spiritual fervor,
Unceasingly serving the Lord;
Even if it takes sacrifice,
Gladly would we obey His word.

These days are in peril, we know,
Learn to choose good, not bad or wrong;
Though we are all weak, frail, and lame,
God shall make us firm, brave, and strong.

This whole world is shadowed by dark,
As humans are blinded by lies;
We should proclaim the shining truth,
To let them all open their eyes.

Let not the works of flesh each day
Prevail over our mind and heart;
While there's a chance, renew our life
So our hope will not fall apart.

Let's continue to have true faith,
Allow it not to fade or wane,
We must not be halted or stopped
By neither deep sorrow nor pain.

Don't delay and never waver;
Run fast toward the finish line;
Don't ever swerve and don't wiggle
To receive the prize so divine.

As the world's end is soon to come,
Intensify our endeavor,
Keep on going till the last breath,
Uphold our spiritual fervor.

Though we are all weak, frail, and lame, God shall make us firm, brave, and strong. He is all powerful and He can make us strong! We are passing through difficult times. So should hold on to our faith and live our life in prayer! Keep away from all sins that stain our souls as God wants our spirits to be free of blemishes! A highly spiritual write !
